About Me

My name is Katie. I am a 23 year old music teacher and I am involved with anything I can get my hands on.

I have a passion for anything in the home, especially anything that involves creativity. I have always been in love doing crafts and giving items a new look to them, which lead to me refurbishing furniture. It started off as wanting to give my bedroom a facelift and ended with me creating Refurbishing From The Heart.

You may ask where did come up with the name. Well going to college I was in the marching band and our barituba line would say "From The Heart" right before any performance we gave. They wanted everyone to perform from the heart and I yearn to create and refurbish furniture from my heart.

I feel like there will be more to come as Refurbishing From The Heart grows and as I grow as a person.
